Iowa City ranks a high third place in Outside magazine's recent poll, "16 Best Places to Live." As we know, Iowa City is affordable, has a low unemployment rate, and a noteworthy downtown. In the article, the city is also determined to be "bike crazy" with weekly local bike rides, a bike library, miles of gravel roads with little car traffic, and even a bike themed restaurant. Not mentioned in the article is the bike sharing program that is slated to start on campus this fall by the Office of Sustainability.
